The SWOT-CAME analysis of your personal brand is one of the first tasks you must perform if you want to achieve your goals. Surely this is not the first time you hear the word SWOT. As stated in Wikipedia, “SWOT analysis, also known as SWOT analysis, is a methodology for studying the situation of a company or a project, analyzing its internal characteristics (Strengths and Weaknesses) and its external situation (Threats and Opportunities) in a square matrix. It comes from the acronym SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats).
The acronym CAME stands for Correct, Address, Maintain and Exploit. It is a tool that completes the SWOT analysis to formulate what will be our strategic approach for the future of our brand, whether personal or business.

Es posible que los clientes interesados en comprar casas en Andalucía se hayan encontrado con el término DAFO, AFO o CAFO. ¿Qué es un DAFO? Un DAFO es en realidad un certificado que le permite ocupar y utilizar la casa. El DAFO también dicta las obras que puedes realizar en tu casa. Es un paso final para poner todos los documentos en su lugar por lo que la casa es un 100% regularizado. El DAFO es una forma de que el ayuntamiento reconozca estas viviendas. Presentando los planos y un certificado de que la casa es habitable, cumple con los requisitos de construcción, ambientales y de seguridad, tiene acceso a agua potable, electricidad y alcantarillado adecuado, la casa puede ser sellada. Los planos y el certificado deben ser presentados por un arquitecto o ingeniero y, una vez aprobados, hay que pagar una tasa al municipio. La tasa aplicable es diferente en cada ciudad.

Its objective is to include these internal and external factors in the strategic plan, maximizing the potential of strengths and opportunities and minimizing the effects of weaknesses and threats.
This analysis makes it possible to identify the strategic lines that can be developed. Although it is initially intended for planning purposes, in evaluation it also serves to verify that the strategy established offers a satisfactory response to the situation described in the analysis. En el mundo de la empresa, encontramos dos términos el DAFO y el CAME. El DAFO es Debilidades, Amenazas, Fortalezas y Oportunidades. A lo que se contrapone el CAME, que es Corregir, Adaptar, Mantener y Explorar. Así que nos quedamos sólo con dos del DAFO (amenazas y oportunidades), y con sus dos contrapartidas del CAME (adaptar y explorar).
Mi problema no es con el vocabulario y el significado en sí, sino con encontrar la traducción adecuada para CAME. Obviamente DAFO es un análisis DAFO y por lo tanto, me imagino que CAME es otra idea levantada y traducida de la cultura empresarial estadounidense con un equivalente muy específico.
