Cities: skylines traffic lights mod

Our three collections on Steam consist of a collection of buildings, which is fully compatible and you can place all its elements, a collection of mods, in which not all mods are compatible and you will have to place the ones you like the most (as long as they are not incompatible with each other) and also the collection of vehicles, which as in the case of buildings, you can place all of them as they are not incompatible with each other.

This is a mod that allows you to select any vehicle in the game and drive it freely. However, it is still in its pre-alpha phase and can only be experimented by driving on roads crowded with vehicles.

This mod allows you to place pedestrian lanes, which also allows zoning, to create urban centers with traffic restrictions. It also allows you to edit lanes, and change vehicles and speed through them.

This mod allows us greater control over traffic in our city by allowing us to modify the traffic lights, but not only their location but also the management of time and lanes. It also allows us to modify turns in lanes, preferences, avoid the disappearance of vehicles and the placement of crosswalks where you want. A really essential mod.

This is looking better and better. I’ll be commenting to see if with hours of gameplay the defects and virtues are coming out and so I end up deciding (right now I have very clear the pillarmelo but until Easter I should not for my academic good XD)

45.000 inhabitants already, and my city has collapsed with traffic. As you grow little by little, and you buy land extensions, you can improve the roads little by little and with time. But you get to a point where you have to reset the city (or learn to make it better from the beginning, but this ship sailed long ago xDD), usually because of bad planning.

The truth is that the game is great, in 12 hours I have reached 45k of 1 million inhabitants, each city takes many hours and conscientious planning. The best thing is that it allows you to go at your own pace, it also has hardcore mode to make it more interesting to replay it.

I also think it lacks some extra buildings, or the ability to expand the buildings through modifications. The theme of modifying the budget is very good and the effect caused (for better or worse) of modifying the taxes or budgets is very noticeable, but it is not the same as in Simcity.

The big challenge of this game is the traffic. Once you start to have level 5 skyscrapers, traffic jams can be hellish. That is where the grace of the game is, in planning well the distribution of the traffic so that you do not collapse some zones.

1.- There is not, or I can’t find, the UNDO key. There is no way to undo a work, except the demolition. It is very annoying because sometimes what you want to do is unfeasible. For example, you have traffic problems, you dismantle a built-up area, and you realize that what you want to do cannot be done because the roads do not match.

By the way Ronin, if you have problems with the roads, which you shouldn’t, remove the snap (square button with a dot inside to the right of the road types to choose -straight, curve, etc-). This allows you to put sections more easily. But you can’t always use it because there would be no way to connect the roads afterwards. It is useful to make links between streets where for whatever reason it is complicated. Only use it from time to time and to connect, if not later it can give you headaches to join the streets.
